SLE 4442
Intelligent 512-Byte EEPROM with Write Protection function and Programmable Security Code
  • Data memory - 512 bytes
  • Synchronous transmission (type 10 - "2-wire link protocol", byte-wise addressing)
  • Data Memory (addresses 0....255) alterable only after verification of 3 Byte Programmable Security Code (PSC)
  • Byte-wise write protection of first 32 addresses (byte 0....31) of Data Memory
  • EEPROM erase / write time 20 ms
  • EEPROM Endurance minimum 100,000 erase / write cycles (Values are temperature dependent)
SLE 4436
Integrated scheme produced by Infineon Company - "token card" with active authentication and data loss security function.
  • Counter with up to 32767count units, which can only decrease. Card "recharging" is impossible.
  • Counter tearing protection: backup feature activated at choice
  • Synchronous transmission, 5-wire link protocol, bit-oriented addressing (addresses 0....255)
  • Protection against cloning, fraud, unauthorized emission by one or two 48bit secret keys (active authentication)
  • Proprietary active authentication algorithm (protection against emulation)
  • Unique 8 byte unalterable serial number
  • 10 bytes of PROM for additional information (in case of using two authentification keys - 2 bytes)
  • Calculation of a 16 bit response within 30ms at a clock frequency of 100kHz
